I'm trying to boot a NUC DN2820FYKH with Patriot Memory PV34G160L9CS (4GB DDR3 SODIMM 1.35v 12800 1600MHz) with no luck. The NUC goes on and off three times (LED and also fan) and then stays on, but with no video output at all. This behavior is different than the described triple blinking pattern, which I get when I remove the memory stick.
Is it a memory issue? I'm confused by the fact that the memory error blink pattern is not shown when the stick is inserted. If not, what else could it be?
I am sorry you are having problems with this but let me help you.
The memory you have may seem to comply with the NUC requirements but the memory part number is not listed under the tested peripherals for this NUC.
Here you can check the tested peripherals for this NUC:
This strange behavior may be caused by memory you have so I would recommend you to test the NUC with tested hardware if possible so we can discard compatibility issues.
