Hi apaandmomo,
Let me help you with this information.
Based on the processor you are using, the Graphics controller you have is Intel® HD Graphics First Generation.
We have 4 generations at this point:
- Arrandale: 1st generation Intel® Core processors. Most of the times have only 4 numbers as model number. Eg: M460.
- Sandy Bridge: 2nd generation Intel® Core processors. Most of them are recognized because have 4 numbers and the first one starts with the number. Here we can find 2 controllers: Intel® HD 2000 and 3000. Eg: i7-2600.
- Ivy Bridge: 3rd generation Intel® Core processors. All of them have 4 numbers and the first one starts with the number 3. We can find Graphics controller HD 2500 and 4000. Eg: i7-3770K.
- Haswell: 4th generation Intel® Core processors. All of them have 4 numbers and the first one starts with the number 4. Here we have different controllers under the same Technology: HD 4200, 4400, 4600. Eg: I7-4770K
I hope this can help you understand it.
