From what I can tell, it doesn't seem that the newest D54250WYK board/NUC kit has HDMI 2.0 (but rather 1.4a). It's not clear, but it also doesn't seem like this can be upgraded via graphics bios/driver updates to be HDMI 2.0 compatible. Could somebody please clarify this? My intent is to purchase a 4k UHD TV to run 4k at 60fps. I know that displayport is capable of this, but I want to run the signal through a receiver which is only compatible with HDMI 2.0.
If this board can't/won't be upgraded to HDMI 2.0, does the Intel NUC roadmap show or is there an expected upcoming board that will meet the HDMI 2.0 standard?
I'm sorry to say that there currently isn't any NUC on the roadmap that will support HDMI 2.0. It all depends on the processor graphics, and that looks like sometime in the latter half of 2015, at this point.
