@I have a G72-B50US, I am having a graphics driver problems. I'm not very computer savvy, but after several days I was able to find this under device manager:
Qknfd, non-plug & play driver. (It says this device is not present, not working properly, or does not have all of its drivers installed (code 24). It lists unknown manufacturere & location. I went to Intel website to try to download the drivers, but the part of the web that automatically detects the correct driver is not working. I have class assignments that I have to complete online, and I'm on a deadline. Someone, anyone help me, PLEASE!!!!!

Hello Taebaby18,
I am sorry you are having problems with the laptop but let me help you as much as possible to fix it.
I found the computer specifications at this link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02497778&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=4317552 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02497778&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=4317552
Based on that information, your computer is running a First generation processor with Intel® HD Graphics. Now At this point, I honestly did not understand very well what the problem is but just in case, I recommend you uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it again.
The driver you need is the following:

Here you can also find some important steps to install the driver:
