Intel Matrix Storage Manager V8.9.0.1023 is giving Windows Search and Defender errors (clean install)

    Next_Step

      Hello,

I have a problem with a pc with a clean install.

Everything is fine when I have Windows 7 64bit Ultimate installed. I first install the Intel chipset utility v. 9.1.2.1007.

The windows search indexing service is working fine (checked it) and also defender. But after the driver for my Sata ports is installed, the Matrix Storage Manager v 8.9.0.1023, these two services stop working and giving me errors.

In the BIOS the SATA controller is set to AHCI.

      Hardware:

      Asus P7H55M-usb3

Crucial M500 240GB SSD (connected to the Intel Sata II ports, not the Marvell Sata III port which is not stable)

      2 GB Kingston memory

      Asus EN210 display card

Errors I get from the event viewer:

Windows Search service has stopped with an specific service error %%-2147217025

Windows Search service can't create a new search index. Internal error <4, 0x8004117f

The Jet-propertiesarchive can't be opened by the Windows search-service

      This goed on and on.

      Any help is welcome!
