Question on Intel SRT caching.
I have a 10TB raid5 with poor write performance. If I setup a 30GB SDD cache drive in maximized mode, speed is greatly improved.
**My question is what happens if the SSD drive dies? Also, how often is data moved from SSD to Array?
What happens to the data on the RAID5 array? Does it remain OK? Is only the data on SSD drive lost? Will I still be able to write to array? Is it easy recover

I understand you have some questions in regards to Smart response technology.
If the SSD drive fails, there is no impact to your data. Please bear in mind, SSD cached is just memory added to your RAID configuration. There is no data on your SSD drive, it’s just cache memory.
