I bought a 3217BY recently and am super happy with it. When assembling the system I happened to see 2 internal headers that looked suspiciously like USB mount headers. The specs and articles online give me conflicting data on this - most claim this model doesn't have internal headers at all, while others say it depends on the system board number.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Hello Vulcan, I’m happy to know you are very satisfied with our product.
In regards to your question, I would have to inform you that this specific model does not have an internal USB header. Please check the following information http://ark.intel.com/products/71274/Next-Unit-of-Computing-Kit-DC3217BY
The board that does have an Internal USB Header is the DC3217IY. Actually it comes with 2 headers. ARK | Intel® NUC Kit DC3217IY
