I understand you are looking for USB port information; however, I need more details about your motherboard model.
I will need the model number of the NUC or desktop model number; this is located underneath the NUC or near memory slots of the board.

Thanks for coming back to the community.
I regret to inform you that Intel does not provide cables or adapters for this USB header. You will need to look for dual custom USB cable.
You may want to try at this URL:
This may be helpful,
Looking at the spec sheet for the 8-pin internal USB 2.0 Header, it is defined as a 1.25mm single row device.
If you go to the Intel Technical Product Specs - Intel® NUC — Technical Specifications
And look up your specs for the NUC model that you have, it will tell you what exactly you will need.
If I look at the spec for the NUC5i5RYH (which is what I have) - it gives me the following link: -
Page 41 has definitions for the header: -
188.8.131.52 Signal Tables for the Connectors and Headers
Table 14. Dual-Port Internal USB 2.0 Header (1.25 mm pitch)
Pin Signal Name Pin Signal Name
1 +5 V DC 2 Data (negative) A
3 Data (positive) A 4 Ground
5 Ground 6 Data (positive) B
7 Data (negative) B 8 +5 V DC NOTE
The connector used is Molex part number 53398-0871, 1.25 mm pitch PicoBlade* header, surface mount, vertical, lead-free, 8 circuits.
A visual inspection of the NUC5i5RYH shows this to be true.
The only one place that I can find that seems to have this magical item is in the UK called pcpartsandcables - see: -
They also have different transition cables if that's your thing.
This cable was only added to their catalogue on Thursday 09 April, 2015
Intel describe their usb headers here
if you have the NUC5xxxxx then you need a white 1.25mm pitch 10pin usb header.
Lookup this part number (google bing or yahoo)
Hope this helps.
Onietiu thank you for your comments.
It is possible to use an External USB 3.0 hub. The list gives some examples.
