Mikael, I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you have faced with your NUC.
I was checking the memory information at Kingston website and the memory you are using is ECC memory. Our NUCs supports Non-ECC SO-DIMMs.
Please check the following link, it provides the memory specification of the KVR16LSE11/8 http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/?partid=KVR16LSE11/8
There are the system memory requirements for your product. It also show the memory tested on this NUC.
Thank you for the response i will try to finde some Non-EEC memory to try with as well.
Should the NUC boot without any memory in it or will it show the same memory led flash error?
The NUC won't boot, it won’t even access the BIOS. It will give you a memory error (3 blinks)
I actually see this problem right now and have the latest version of the BIOS on my D54250WYKH. I am currently using the following memory as specified in the URL you provided to LoPuS in the above thread. ANy ideas?
Crucial CT102464BF160B.M16FED, CL11 8 GB 1600 MHz
Hello Spaniard, I’m sorry to hear that you are having memory problems with your NUC.
First of all it is very important for me to know how did you install the latest BIOS version on the unit?
Is this a brand new product? Did it use to work?
Have you tested any other memory?
You can try to do a clear CMOS, please follow the instructions below in order to perform this procedure.
