HDMI output is black and white on external monitor

I have a Lenovo B570 running a Intel Pentium B940 and a Intel HD Graphics card. I have been utilizing an external monitor (connected via VGA) and recently added a 2nd external tv monitor connected to the HDMI port. All was good - utilized the two external monitors, while disconnecting the laptop's monitor. Today I booted my computer ant the monitor connected to the HDMI was in black and white.

I first checked the options for both Windows 7 and the Intel Graphic and all appears normal.

I then checked to make sure the graphics driver is updated.

Lastly, I bought a new hdmi cable and still black and white.

Is there an option in the settings that has been changed or a way to reset to default settings?

Thanks for joining the community.

I see you have an Intel Pentium B940 and according to the specifications of the processor, this will support two displays. Since this is a laptop computer, it will handle built in LCD and an external monitor, total of 2 displays.

In other words, you would connect one VGA monitor and laptop screen, or HDMI monitor with built in LCD screen.

Please bear in mind the only way to reset video configuration would be uninstalling video drivers.

See here for more information about Multi-Monitor:
