I have seen that threat and he uses an invertor (12V to 220V) to power the NUC. I understand that is a possibility. However, for efficiency reasons I want to run it straight from the battery.
So you say that when I plug the NUC into 14VDC, it will be fine? I didn't get the manual in how specific that range was.
RikBos, the board can be powered through a 12-19 V DC connector on the back panel.
You will be able to find the manual or TPS at the following link page 45 to 52 http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23089/eng/D54250WYB_D34010WYB_TechProdSpec03.pdf
