Hello Inwithid, thanks for informing us this behavior. We haven’t received this kind of notifications.
What I can recommend you is to try to roll back to the previous BIOS version 0024. Check the visual BIOS.
Then, install BIOS 025 again, just in case there was an error the first time it was installed.
You can also test another monitor on the NUC if you have an additional one.
Same problem when connected to Yamaha receiver and TV via mini HDMI, the BIOS display is half the size on the screen. Reverted back to 024 BIOS.
I see the same issue here starting from version 25. D34010WYK connected over MiniHDMI to a Samsung full HD television. Doesn't bother me that much though.
I have the same. Updated to 0025, connect from mini-HDMI to HDMI to my Sony monitor. The BIOS-display is half size now. My Windows-screen is normal.
My previous BIOS (0021) had the nromal display-size.

Let me explain what you are seeing. BIOS v0025 includes a workaround in the Visual BIOS module to fix the problems where you could not even get into BIOS with F2 if your display did not support certain resolutions. This workaround is that the BIOS will display at 1024x768 for all systems.
We wanted to get this out as soon as we could for those with the BIOS access problem. The plan is to add in a detection feature so that the 1024x768 display will only happen on those systems that need it.
Hi to all
My d54250wyk NUK ,BIOS WY0025 is on BLACK SCREEN trap, no F2 or any other keys working.
when i remove the jumper and reinstall the BIOS the screen works normally (during the installation process. Then turns black again).
It is a compatibility failure with my screens resolution I guess (a cheap LG led 1900 X something). NUC works during this, mouse is lighten up, ethernet green light is on, there is signal reaching the monitor etc.
Screen connection is MINI DISPLAY PORT to VGA
Is there a possibility to find an older BIOS to downgrade?
Any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance
I should add to the above that all problems started after a secure boot setting.
Downgrading from WY0025.BIO to WY0022.BIO solved the black screen problem.
Nobody answered me, but anyway, thanks for reading.
