    Changing a RAID 5drive

    Niebel

      Hi,

I had to change a drive from my RAID 5 Volume ( 5 drives). And I have a problem because it seems that it's not recognize as RAID 5 Drive. It stays in a "non-RAID drive" status. My Raid 5 is not rebuilding. I don't have a lot of choice, but delete the volume, but I dont want to loose all my data.

      Any idea?

      Thanks.

      I've joined screenshots.

I understand you have problems with RAID configuration.

Thank you for the attached pictures. I regret to inform you that once a RAID volume is detected as “Failed”, there is no option to recover the information, in other words, RAID structure and data are no longer available. You will need to recreate RAID structure again.

          Allan.
