Hello,
I am trying to update my graphics driver to the latest version. I keep using the Automatic Intel Update Utility software and it tells me that this is the driver that i need to update to: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelhdgraphics4000 Intel® HD Graphics 4000 15.33.14.64.3412 (10.18.10.3412) and it tells me my current version is 8.15.10.2626, however whenever I try to update to the newer version it gives me I believe 3 different error messages (randomly chosen) such as: "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. Setup will exit." or "The operating system is not supported".
I have tried hp's site as well and they dont have an updated driver version for my computer.
Here are my computer specs:

Hi rygilly,
I am sorry to hear you are having problems installing the graphics driver but let me do my best to help you.
Based on your description, I recommend you first uninstalling the current driver. Here you can get instructions to do it:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm
Once it is uninstalled, you can download the latest for your controller here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3712&DwnldID=23639 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3712&DwnldID=23639
Please note that if you get a notification message during the installation, it indicates that your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. You are required to install drivers from your computer manufacturer.
You may try to force the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:
