I downloaded the library from https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-BMP085-Library , then I compiled the example and it had a different error, it displays that it couldn't find the library util/delay.h.
I searched for a workaround, and there is one. The util/delay.h library is imported into the file to be able to use the _delay_ms() function, instead of that you can use the delay() function.
To replace the functions you need to modify the Adafruit_BMP085.cpp file by deleting the line 19 that says #include <util/delay.h> , then you need to replace every _delay_ms() with a delay(). I tried that and allowed me to compile the example. You can give it a try, it might work for you as well.
I bought the Sparkfun version of this i2c sensor.
It doesn't have a dependency on the util/delay.h library but when I compile it noting appears in the serial window.
Would you guys know what is going wrong? Here is the link to the .cpp file
Thanks for your time,
I can't comment on the Sparcfun code, but here you get a version of the Adafruit version adapted to work on the Galileo. I use this on the Galileo, and it works great.
