Hello guys,

I got an error 58 on my intel loading screen for a while now. I just recently updated the bios and the temperatures of the processor is around 83 °C which also scares me. Is this normal? I got a DX79TO and the bios version is now: SIX7910J.86A.0594.2013.0806.2241 which I just updated to. I hope someone can help me cause this is really annoying.

Greetings,

Joost

I am sorry to hear that have had issues with your Intel board.

This BIOS code indicates an issue with USB controller on your system.

If this issue happened after BIOS update, please perform BIOS downgrade to version 0590

Hello Allan,

The error occured at the version I had before so I updated my BIOS in the hope it will be fixed, but it isn't. And is it no problem my processor is at 83 °C even if I have a cpu cooler and 3 case fans.

Greetings,

Joost

Have in mind that if the processor gets too hot, the built-in protection shuts down the processor. Please follow recommendations available at this URL:http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-029426.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-029426.htm

Hello Allan,

The problem is fixed! It turned out the CPU fan was a bit loose. So I placed it in the right way and now the processor is 40 °C. Thank you for your help!!
