I tried to install in legacy mode Intel HD graphics. Windows take all driver but i have error 31...here is a screenshot

Also i tried to ask @ http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/ for a modded bios and enable the voice in the bios!

A question : is it possible my cpu is faulty ONLY in a graphic part? And is it true Samsung says me?

I am sorry you have been getting issues trying to enable on board graphics solution.

It appears your computer comes with switchable graphics, this means your system has Intel video and Third Party. The message you have when trying to install Intel drivers is because the usage of another video card has disabled onboard graphics. You need to check with Samsung for any BIOS settings or software within operating system to enable Intel graphics. Try updating computer BIOS.

Please take a look at the link below for more information:

A question : is it possible my cpu is faulty ONLY in a graphic part? And is it true Samsung says me? There are difference between I3-2310m (socket FCBGA 1023) and I3-2310M (socket PPGA 988) ?

The strange thing is if i go in a product page of my notebook, you read optimus technlogies !!!!

          Thanks!!!

According to your screen shot, your computer comes with Intel® HD Graphics and Nvidia graphics, this is called Switchable graphics.

The latest video driver provides support for switchable graphics, please filter by operating system and try to install the driver when it finishes downloading, to verify that your system will accept it:

The only difference between i3-2310m is the actual size of the processor for small or large computers. (Size).

The error code 31 might be an issue with your Windows registry, you may try to update video drivers by performing manual installation, see here for instructions:

              http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm

Select your operating system version and download the zip version of the video driver:

Hi Allan, nothing to do : error 31. (here the screenshot)

                error 31.jpg

Yesterday, I was on the phone for 2 hours with Lorenzo of Customer Care Samsung and told me : "Optimus Technologies is a technology that allows you to switch between integrated graphics and graphics "external". When I turn on the computer works only integrated graphics, but when Windows has loaded, does the GT520. If the processor is broken only in the graphic pc does not work. "

But I say this. If I have an I3-2310M because I can not use it? Why can not I install the drivers? Why NVIDIA drivers do not allow me the choice between integrated graphics and graphics "external"

In the past I have had a Samsung RF710 with I5-2410m and Nvidia GT540M and I could use both the HD3000 is the GT540!! The panel Nvidia had the function to choose all the cards video. My RV520 no!

Even Lorenzo (Samsung) now reads this thread because it does not believe that the CPU has problems: Allan a question. The processor can be broken only in the graphic? This may be the HM65 chipset on the motherboard of my laptop which has problems?

                Thank you!

I do not think the processor is defective (graphics portion) because you will not even get video at all if this part is broken.

The reason why you cannot install Intel drivers is because your computer manufacturer has modified Video BIOS and the BIOS of your computer to only accept customized drivers from them. Not generic Intel drivers.

                  Allan.
