I have DP965LT motherboard. When I check with Intel Desktop Utilities, the I/O Controller Hub (ICH) Temperature is shown as 91 C.
What is this temperature?
Why is it this much high?
Is this normal?
Actually from the Technical Product Specification, you will see that the ICH die temperature can go up to 92C.
Actually if your system is reporting high temperature, you will need to check these first
It can be due to any of these:
a) bad integration
b) PSU not ATXv2.2
c) Chassis is not TAC (Thermally Advantage Chassis)
d) BIOS Issues. (update the bios)
Check temperature in the bios to see if there is any difference.
Test the system out of the chassis..
All the best,
