    AHCI mode for HM67

I have the notebook SONY VAIO VPCSE2V9 with chipset Intel(R) HM67 Express Chipset.

I've installed SSD disk to my notebook but currently AHCI is disabled.

Does this chipset support AHCI? Where can I download driver for AHCI and enable it?

      OS: Windows 7 Professional

          Hi ChAlex,

Let me help you with this information.

We as Intel® provide the hardware to the computer manufactures and they design and create their computers according to their need. Due to this, it is possible that there is a limitation at the BIOS level and this is why you do not see the other chipset modes at the BIOS level.

Normally the available modes in desktop systems are IDE, AHCI and RAID but it depends on the computer manufacture decision.
