    RTL8192CU Wireless Driver

    KPO

Does anyone use RTL8192CU USB WIFI adapter on Galileo board?

I built an image adding RTL kernel modules. My system detects RTL8192CU. But it doesn't work.

      'ifconfig' doesn't show WLAN setting.

      'lsusb' returns:

      Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0bda:8178 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8192CU 802.11n W

      LAN Adapter

      'iwconfig' returns:

      wlan0     IEEE 802.11bgn  ESSID:off/any

                Mode:Managed  Access Point: Not-Associated   Tx-Power=off

                Retry  long limit:7   RTS thr=2347 B   Fragment thr:off

                Encryption key:off

                Power Management:off

      'lsmod' returns:
