Hello, Pettenstein, as a helpful note, we have seen within the time compatibility problems between our products and 3rd party hardware. Sometimes because of the technologies involved or manufacturing design. Being said this, it is important to consider that eventually this could be a compatibility issue.
The following link will show you the list of tested components on this motherboard. http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d2500cc/sb/CS-033940.htm
I recommend you to do is some basic troubleshooting such as:
- Test the system out of the chassis, minimal configuration please. (Motherboard+ processor, power supply, 1 memory stick
- Remove the CMOS battery and leave the system without it for about an hour. Then put it back on and restart the system. http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-028780.htm?wapkw=clear+cmos+battery#datetime
- Search for the latest firmware for your SSD.
- If you can, please test another SSD.
