Which bios update method are you using?
If you are using the ISO, then you may try either the iflash or the recovery method, these are the most basic method.
Before doing the BIOS update, try clearing the cmos by removing the motherboard battery and put it back after about 30 minutes.
For the recovery method you need to either use an empty non-bootable usb or cd having only the downloaded .bio file on the media
Download bios recovery file: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/license_agr.aspx?url=/17617/eng/SG0116.BIO&ProductID=2932&agr=Y&sType=&PrdMap=&DwnldId=17617&strOSs=38&OSFullName=OS%20Independent&lang=eng
Then you need to remove the bios configuration jumper, start the system. It will boot automatically to either the usb or the cd onto which you have put the .bio file. Bios update will start automatically and in most situations you will see the progress on the screen, after the update it will ask you to power off the system, put the jumper back to the normal position and then start the system, everthing should be fine after that
For the iflash method, you need to have a dos bootable media. :
Download the bios package for the iflash method: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/license_agr.aspx?url=/17617/eng/SGP4510H.86A.0116.BI.ZIP&ProductID=2932&agr=Y&sType=&PrdMap=&DwnldId=17617&strOSs=38&OSFullName=OS%20Independent&lang=eng
Please follow the instructions from the readme file:http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17617/eng/BIOS%20Update%20Readme.pdf
Try to do the update according to the method that you chose. It should normally goes on well.
