Windows 7 provides Programs and Features as the only engine to uninstall drivers or programs. This means you will need to look for Intel® Rapid Storage under Control Panel, programs and select your programs to remove it from the system. I am afraid; Intel does not recommend removing folders from windows root directory.
If possible try running system restore program to get your windows registry back to an earlier date.
Hi Allan, thank you for the answer.
I tried this way already. Windows 7 told me the program could not be found or / and has been already removed. After I click 'ok' on this message he just delete the name of the program from the uninstall list. The installation is damaged. So I can not uninstall program did now ... :-(
The program folder still exists: C:\Program Files \ Intel \ Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology.
Folder size: 20.3 MB (21,336,064 bytes)
Contents: 276 Files, 51 Folders
I think I need to force a manual removal / uninstall. I've never done this before.
Can you tell me please how to do that?
Unfortunately I can't restore my system to an earlier date.
Intel does not assist with information about manual driver removal; you can try overwritten existing files by replacing them with latest version:
If overwritten information does not work, I am afraid you need to backup data and re install your operating system.
