Well here is a link where you can check which Intel Boards work with the CPU QX6700
Unfortunately, there is no other boards that have the Chipset
Intel 82975X MCH;
Intel 82801GR ICH7R or Intel 82801GH ICH7DH
Possibly, you will need to look on other Manufacturer Website like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Abit etc.

I had the same thing happen to my 2.5 yr old msi board. It turned out to be the Northbridge chipset fried under the heatsink. I could not locate a new, identical unit I rma'd the board but msi took 5 weeks to return a repair'd board. I purchased a ASRock P45XE board. It handles the qz6700 just fine and the plus side is I can upgrade to faster ram when I have the cash.
