I downgraded the BIOS to the former version, change the switch and cables I was using but I'm still stuck at
Initializing and Establishing Link...
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable.
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent
I'm planning to return the product...
Thanks for the information, I will report this matter to our engineering department, to discard any possible issue with PXE problems after BIOS update
In the meantime, please try to perform BIOS recovery, see here for instructions

Thank you for your reply.
On this unit, I also have a problem to install the Wifi Card because of the "Magic 2R2" grey chip being placed too low on the board, so I cannot screw the card.
I'm definitely returning this unit.
FYI, S/N is G6YK344000MU Batch CNG63AT103
Date of Manufacture 29OCT2013
I also have one more problem is unit cannot put my screen to standby, so when it standby it constantly wake up the screen with black screen then sleep. I don't know if it's my screen being incompatible with the computer (Iiyama Prolite XB2776QS).
Such a pity, I really liked the design, the size and the power...
I have the exakt same problem whit PXE boot, i have tested BIO version 0018 and 0021.
Hey allan_intel, is there a solution on this?
Im planing to have NUC in several shool rooms and have to get the PXE boot to work.
I have 5 test DC3217IYE, and they work fine.
I received the new unit and the Wifi card problem is fixed but now it's even worse because it still cannot boot on network on the original bios (0018). Same error message, so I guess it's not a BIOS related issue.
I used a Netgear GS108 and also tested on a Netgear GS108E as a switch. I'm quite sure it is not a compatibility problem since I tried the PXE TFTP server on two other computer (other brand and model, using a Realtek PXE) and it was working flawlessly.
What happened between the time the PXE was working on the NUC and the moment it couldn't even detect the DHCP... Please Intel help help help... You should have the greatest engineers on this planet, so I'm sure you can fix this!!
The new BIOS version 0022 is working for me now.
Version 22 doesn't work for me. Had to use version 21.
BIOS version 30 tested and boots successfully.
