I'm running a CentOS 6.4 server with 4 KVM guests. Each guest has a VF passed through to it. When I try to use a libpcap application I drop 90% of my packets. The traffic rate to each guest is around 300Mb/s.

The host as 192G RAM, 2x 8 core CPUs and 2x SSDs striped. Each guest is assigned 2 CPUs and 24G RAM.

Are there any specific parameters that I should be tuning on the 82599 to get my packet loss down to 0?
