Hello MarkR_DK, according to the latest news we received, this NUC should be available sometime next month (December).
There is not a specific date.
Is there any difference, besides the chassis? Why the delay?
It's really unfortunate that a good feature is existing and there's no possibility to use it.
Why is it January and the "H" revision not available???
This is delaying everything I had plans for.
I do not need / nor want to invest in a MSATA drive, when i have a perfectly good SSD drive now that can be utilized for my HTPC.
Its now a week into January, Intel
What was the reason for missing this target release date?
There appears to have been some delays in finalizing certain certifications and regulations. The i3 version is now available at retailers (like at Amazon.com: Intel NUC D34010WYKH, Mini HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0, 4th Gen Intel Core i3-4010U, new 2.5" HDD/SSD Support: Computers & Accessories). The i5 version should be showing up there shortly as well.
Thanks for the update. I've also been eagerly awaiting this model.
I just ran across this thread and wanted to share my review of the D54250WYKH - http://www.legitreviews.com/intel-nuc-kit-d54250wykh-review_133823
It should be shipping to distributors now and available at the end of the month.
