Hi,
I have Problems with an fresh Windows 8.1 HTPC (no Upgrade, fresh install)
Hardware: Asus H87M-pro Board with i5 4570S, LG 60LA7408-ZA TV, TV connected direct with HDMI Cable.
Software: Windows 8.1 64bit LGGerman with Media Center, intel driver 3316.
If I boot the system (with TV on), all works fine, If I change the Input on the TV or power off/on the TV, the sound is lost until I reboot the System.
If the sound is lost, in the sound options the HDMI Sound is on disconnected status. disconnect/connect the HDMI brings no success.
I have checked this with 3 HDMI Cable and with the Graphic driver from ASUS, Windows Update, intel Download Center und the 3316 Version from this Forum. The driver not installed with the intel-setup, I installed the driver from the Device Manger (Zip-Version) Instructions from this site: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm Desktop graphics drivers — How to manually install a driver in Microsoft Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*
I attached 2 files created with dxdiag (fresh boot with HDMI sound and one after power off/on TV)
intel, please help!
Andreas
