So my problem is: RST does not recognize the ssd(RAID, 111GB) where i installed windows 8.1 on, it also does not recognize my other hdd (465 GB).

It only recognizes my cd/rom drive....

I also can't create a new volume under "status"; are the disks supposed to be empty or what? Also, when i click on "manage" says: iAStorUI has stopped working. i tried to reinstall the program several times but no luck...

There is no clear explantion on the internet so that's why iam asking here.

full system specs:

  • i7 3770k @ stock speed
  • asrock z77 extreme 4
  • tsstcorp cd/rom drive
  • Kingston ssd now v300
  • WDC WD5000
  • Intel HD graphics

Dev-dat, please check if there is any new BIOS version for your motherboard.

Before creating the RAID, make sure all hard drives and SSD are being recognized on BIOS. Also, you may want to test another SATA port in order to discard if it is defective.

The following is the latest RST version available on the website, please uninstall the current one and download version 12.8.0.1016.https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23060&ProdId=2101&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208.1*&DownloadType=Drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23060&ProdId=2101&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208.1*&DownloadType=Drivers
