The Haswell-based NUCs coming in December have a standard SATA connector on the board. They'll be available in a taller case that has room for a 2.5" SATA drive as well.

Can you just confirm what you mean by "The Haswell-based NUCs coming in December". Do you mean the taller cases are coming in December or ALL Haswell based NUCs? Please tell me Haswell-based NUCs haven't gone from late September release to December!?...
