    dg33fb south bridge heat issues

Interestingly I learned the South Bridge of this motherboard is designed to run fairly hot. I've seen idle temps up to 86c.

Still it makes me uneasy. A tech said a newer bios version would help. Why is that?

I've got a case fan running on it, and I wonder if a larger passive heat sink would help.

Although I know it is designed to run hot, I still am concerned about running the board on hot days.
