Hey, did you install the 9500? did it work?
I will try a 9400gt on that same board. According to wikipedia pci-e 2.0 cards are backwards compatible with pci-e 1.0 and 1.1
9500gt will sure work..but i have took a xfx ati radeon hd 4650 1gb card & played even crysis warhead smoothly...i suggest u take this card..bcoz better than 9500gt in performance & specs but price almost same..take a look at the comparision..but dont take 9400gt its useless
Great, Thanks for the advise!
u welcome..& let me know wat u finally did...&& dont forget to change primary display adapter in the bios to PCI-E or it will not work..
Hey also, FYI, there are 2 versions of 9500GT..
DDR2 & DDR3, also different clock speeds.
I have a 9500GT DDR3 running in a system now, and Crysis Warhead looks like CRAP.....
If your specs allow it I would go with a 9600/9800 or better...
Also EVGA makes a low power edition 9600GT DDR3 350watt PSU requirement...
I don't know if links are allowed, but here it is.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130485
This will still not MAX Crysis. In fact I have a SLI 8800GTS G92 512 Q6600 3.6GHZ, that will still not max Crysis..
But is very nice never the less...
