When migrating from my Hd 180 GB to Intel 335 series 240 GB SSD the computer restarts and then says "Processing, please wait."

After 1 min it says "Acronis Bootable Agent is Waiting for removeble devices."

Nothing more happend. I dont now what it complanes about.

I run Windows XP SP3.

Lajban, it seems the Intel® SSD is not being detected properly; please verify the connection and make sure is correctly identified with the model number. If you are using a desktop system try a direct SATA connection, otherwise you want to use an USB/SATA converter that does not mask the drive as USB/ATAPI drive for example.

I use a desktop and SSD is connected to sata.

I tested to install the SSD and copy a file to it and that worked.

It looks like the acronis booter cant find the SSD but the message asks for a removeble device.

SSD is not removeble.

Please make sure the SSD is connected to the SATA port 0, it is probably connected to a different SATA controller. Do you know what mode is the SATA controller using (AHCI, RAID or IDE)?

BIOS and System says that my HDd is IDE.

I have 2 sata contacts solderd to the motherboard (of 4).

My HDd is conncted to the first one and SSD is connected to the secend.

I tried to change the 2 contacts and run Migration program. No difference.
