How to run "fully-featured linux" on Galileo

In the answer to "Can I run Linux on Intel Galileo?" in the FAQ, it refers to the Getting Started Guide for adding a "more fully-featured Linux". Is this a reference to the "Booting your board from an SD card" section of the Getting Started Guide?http://download.intel.com/support/galileo/Galileo_GettingStarted_329685_002.pdf

Or is the Linux image you can download to a microSD the same as the the "small Linux" that comes by default, only with the WiFi driver as extra?

Is there a guide to adding a "fully-featured Linux"?
