OS: Mythbuntu 12.04

Kernel: 3.2.0-29-generic-pa

Driver: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4.4

vaapi: libva-intel-vaapi-driver 1.0.15-1ubuntu2

I am able to rotate the screen right with xorg.conf for VGA connector, but it was failed when using HDMI connector.

Here is the xorg.conf

=============

Section "Monitor"

Identifier "Monitor0"

VendorName "Monitor Vendor"

ModelName "Monitor Model"

Option "Rotate" "right"

EndSection

/var/log/Xorg.0.conf (HDMI connection)

Why is it always detected VGA1 as connector for Monitor0 even if I connect HDMI connectior?

And afterward, it can fetch the EDID for HDMI.

And I think it's the reason that the screen can't rotate right as expected when using HDMI.

P.S. It works perfectly for VGA connector.

Any clues?

Thanks,

Wilson

As you may know, most versions of the Linux* operating system include Intel® graphics drivers. Therefore, Intel recommends checking with your OS distribution vendor or computer manufacturer for precompiled driver packages and support on these drivers.

We suggest that you refer to the following site for further support on this operating system platform:
