Installed Windows 7 and installed the drivers provided on the disc that came with the board. Downloaded updated BIOS and LAN drivers from your site and installed on the new machine.
When connecting the network cable it sits for the longest time just "identifying" the connection and then eventually stops. Tells me there is an issue with the modem and that it can't get a DHCP address.
I can connect to the modem or router with 3 other machines with no troubles.
Any idea what would cause this brand new motherboard to not want to connect?
Is there any conflicts on the Device Manager for this LAN controller?
Have you tried setting a peer to peer connection to another computer using a cross over cable and using static ip addresses?
Have you tried disabling the system firewall?
