I think the board has a limited three year warranty from the date of purchase from an authorized Intel retailer. If you bought the board on eBay, or from an unauthorized retailer, then it likely has no Intel warranty. Unauthorized Intel retailers likely have their own very limited warranty that you must redeem from the retailer.
Do you have a receipt from an authorized Intel retailer?
Also, the board serial number may indicate the market or country the board was originally marketed for sale. If you're in the USA and your board was marketed for Asia or Europe, then that is a possible indication that your board was purchased from an unauthorized Intel retailer.
