Would you please let me know which method did you choose when updating the BIOS?
Please also let me know if you jumped from BIOS version 0113 to the latest one 0132?
We used the F7 option on bootup to flash the bios from a USB flash drive.
As far as the bios update version we updated some boards that had been flashed to 0113 and updated them to 0132. Other boards were taken from 008X to 0132. I will have to look for the original base version of boards we have in stock.
The original BIOS on the boards we are receiving is the 0087 Bios. We then flashed the 0113 onto those boards. Our new process would be to go from 0087 to the 0132 until we discovered the power dip issue. We are currently using the 0087 to 0113 process.
BTGIT, there are 9 BIOS versions from 0087 to the latest one 0132. We usually recommend customer to install 2 or 3 BIOS before installing the latest version.
Sometimes a BIOS version does not include the fixes from the previous one.
Are the systems working OK on BIOS 0113? Remember that if the system is working fine, there is no need to update the BIOS.
