It is important to say that the drivers that Intel ® provides are generic drivers for OEM systems. This means that it is possible that the drivers provided may not work as the custom drivers provided by the OEM.
From our side, I recommend you installing the latest driver for your graphics controller that can be downloaded at the following link:
As mentioned before, the driver above is a generic driver. We as Intel® provide the hardware to the computer system manufacturers and they will design their own software. Due to this reason, and since your computer is a touch screen unit, I recommend you contacting the manufacturer to troubleshoot the system and get their custom drivers.
I also have the same with Crellis's issue, and I'm following your link given, but I received broken link . Please to make my problem solved.
Anyway, I had downloaded the lastest driver for 2nd sandy bridge (intel hd graphics 3000) even intel, acer pages, and it's still cause distorted on screen
I think this is the same problem (video is missing) that i posted in this thread:
I think that windows drivers have some kind of problem. Various models from diferent manufacturer reported this problem, is there anyone who really can help to figure out what´s the problem? in my case i have this problem even with OEM drivers and after changed the CPU and mainboard, so isn´t a hardware problem, and in linux this problem doesn´t exist. The only solution for me is using a very old driver (184.108.40.2061)
Please, any help from intel would be appreciated
Thank you for your post. I see you are working with Allan so I recommend you keep posting there.
