The only 2 reasons why you are not able to download or install the Intel HD 4000 driver are:
- You have a video card installed on the system.
- The incorrect driver version was downloaded, for example you tried to install the 64bit driver but you have a 32bit operating system.
The following is the latest driver available on the website for Windows 7, 64bit. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22842&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(64-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers
Please give it a try and let me know.
Hello, I am having the same problem. I've repeatedly tried to download this driver:
Here is the first screen I get says the driver is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have the latest driver and my dock is broken and the tech support at targus says it is the driver (which I don't think it is since my dock is not working with 3 different computers).
Is there any way to get around this and update the driver?
