I have an external monitor hooked up via HDMI and my laptop is set to extended mode. If I hit print screen, THREE desktops appear. The third one does not have a monitor to represent it, the graphics card says there are only two monitors available for display (external and internal) and yet WINDOWS OPEN IN THIS DESKTOP. So if I'm unlucky enough for a shortcut or a window to end up on this MYSTERY DESKTOP I am completely screwed unless I can blindly snag it with the mouse cursor and move it over. WHAT IS GOING ON?! Drivers are up to date.

Also, is this the live chat I'm being asked to join? Because I don't see any link referring to "live chat"

Could you please provide the dxdiag report from the system you are using and possibly an image of what you are seeing to have a clear idea of what you are seeing?

The desktop on the far right is the phantom desktop. There is no monitor to represent it visually, so when windows open up in that area I have no way of seeing them, they're just off in digital no man's land.
