    DX79SR Blue Screen

    Lpea

About a month ago we sold a personal computer as follows:

      Motherboard Intel DX79SI

      CPU Intel I7-3970X

      Videocard NVidia Quadro K2000D

Nr. 8 modulo RAM Corsair CMP16GX3M4X1866C9

Nr. 1 SSD Hard disk OCZ Revodrive3 X2

      Bios version 0559

Operating system Windows 7 Professional 64bit

With this configuration we make a lot of tuning and stress test with the Extreme utility without problems, but we have a problem with the 4° dimm slot that is broken and we open an RMA for the Exchange.

Our reseller send us  the model DX79SR as Exchange and now when we make the stress test our machine go in blue screen and restart.

We try to update all the drivers and firmware and we try to change the operating system with Windows 8 PRO.

      Nothing is changed

          Hi Lpea,

          - Remove the CMOS battery and leave the system without it for about an hour. Then put it back on and restart the system.

          http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-028780.htm?wapkw=clear+cmos+battery#datetime

Please check under “event viewer” in order to identify what is causing this blue screen.

          Let me know.

tried to do as you suggest (Remove the CMOS battery and leave the system without it for about an hour) but nothing changed.

By the way we have tried to analyze a crash log dump (with previous installation of Windows 7) using the Windows Driver Kit  (WDK) and the result is a problem with ntoskernel.exe.

We have also tried to install WDK in Windows 8 installation and, analyzing the memory log dump, we got this result
