Hil!
I have ASUS K45A-VX015R with Intel HD 4000 video.
There is occasional flicker in the top left corner of the screen. The flicker lasts for split second and takes about 1/3 of the screen. It is not completely black, it looks more like smooth gradient. It is impossible to take a photo because it is so fast so I've drawn a picture how it looks.
Could anyone help with this issue?

Also I should mention:
1) The flicker occurs only on built-in laptop display, and does not occur on external display.
2) There is defective pixel (always white) exactly in the top left corner - (0;0) coordinates. It is not the screen/matrix problem because it is visible both on notebook's display and on external display connected to the notebook.

The fact that it only happens partially and only to the integrated display, may indicate a hardware problem. You may try using Microsoft* Windows* 7 in safe mode to see if this also happens that way.
