DG43NB SATA drive problem when booting.

I just added a 2nd Seagate SATA HD to my system.  The new drive was freshly formatted with no data.  System will not boot.  In looking at the boot menu I see the new drive is considered the primary drive.  I don't see how I can change the boot menu so that the old drive remains the primary drive.  I can boot the system by going to the boot menu each time and selecting the correct drive.   What am I missing?
