    BSOD On Vista Startup, crcdisk.sys

    Drazick

      Hello.

Yesterday I updated my Mainboard BIOS from the release version to the latest.

      The update was successful.

When I started Vista immediately after I got BSOD with the following code:

      *** STOP: 0x0000007B (0x80399BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

      I tried the Safe mode.

All files are loaded till CRCDISK.SYS which hangs the system for few seconds than restarts.

I logged into the BIOS reset to Defaults yet still got the BSOD.

      Any Idea?
