Here are our recommendations for this issue:
- Make sure you have the latest Chipset and LAN driver from our website:
-Check for any conflicts in device manager. .
- Test with a peer to peer connection with another computer using a cross-over cable.
-Update your motherboard BIOS to the latest version available:

I AM NOT A HAPPY BUNNY.
Finally managed to make time to go through your recommendations (I have a living to make & a family to interact with) BUT when I came to turn the PC on & it stops at the code 27 loop. Web searching suggests this is back to the problem I had in the first place (http://communities.intel.com/thread/40039). This was working fine. And now it's not. What a POS these boards are - demonstrated by having problems with two boards (my experience is that with 2 out of 2 boards giving problems, they're 100% unsatisfactory), and clearly many others have had similar problems.
Now I've suddenly got a red CPU overheat LED on - before the CPU has even a chance to overheat. No boot, no nothing. Was OK before.
Two weeks ago I bought components for a 3rd PC build. I assembled that & loaded the OS and it is now in use. This is how it should be. Not two months later having wasted hours taking the board in & out of the case, updating the BIOS & 101 other things AND STILL HAVING NO BOOT even, let alone a working AND PRODUCTIVE pc.
How do I go about replacing the board under warranty?
