Congrats on this one. Nice one. Thanks to your findings, many people will be able to install the RAID on the marvell controller.
Well I did the test, and I posted all the tests and information on this link. It is true there is a problem with the Marvell RAID Driver from the Intel Website.
In your previous post, you mentionned that you have a drive connected on the RED SATA Port, well this is for E-SATA drive only. It does not form part of the RAID from the Marvell Controller.
Anyway, if you need to any other help, let me know i will see if there is anything that i can do.
All the best,
I have a slightly different issue that maybe you've heard of. Using this board and Vista 32 bit, I also tried to use the blue Marvell connectors to add a hard drive in a non raid confirguration and the drive shows fine in windows upon bootup. The problem starts a few hours later when you try to add files to the drive, etc... it's gone! It simply dissappears from windows and all you get is a warning that the drive is missing or not ready. Do a cold reboot and the drive is back. Any ideas?
ps, the same drive works normal when hooked to one of the other board connectors besides the Marvell ones.
