I remembered having installed the Windows Home Server on a DQ35JO, it works fine with the Windows XP Drivers.
But some of them, I had to install it manually by extracting them using Winrar.
OS Compatibility list: http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-008326.htm
Anyway, hopefully someone else can give the exact answer if they tried it.
Thank-you Aryan 2411 for you time!
The DG45ID is fine under WHS. I needed to update the network driver via thumb drive then was able to use the Intel site to finish all 'strays'. I am missing a driver for a 'Simple PCI Communication Device'. Not worried though...
Very pleased how my WHS install went. Simple-no drama. I am backing up my #1 computer as we speak!
Thank you very much for the update, I appreciate it. At least, now this post can help others as well.
Well, Simple PCI Communication is the Management Engine Driver.
Try to download the one for Windows XP and then install it. If it fails, check if it is possible to extract the Driver using Winrar and then install it manually.
Let me know how it goes.
Once again, thanks for the post.
All the best,
