New OpenGL 4.0 driver for HD 2500 and Win XP ?

I see that the recently released new driver 3071 for Windows 7 & 8 supports supports OpenGL 4.0, will this driver be ported for WIndows XP (32bit) ? as I have a Pentium G2130 bought for my son to run Minecraft and get an OpenGL driver Error:

Bad video card drivers!

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.

This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

What is the version of the driver that is currently installed?
