I think there is a specific driver for it. But if you managed to install the first time, try to remove and reinstall. The problem may be in Windows7, also recognizes that not all the features of the hardware. I hope I have helped.
If there is a specific driver for Windows 7 for the NIC where can I find it. I tried the Intel site but came up empty handed...
This card support teaming without any problems but you need to install something called proset for device manager. Unfortunately this can only be installed by running the installation program from the nic drivers and this installation program doesn't install at all on windows 7 (says wrong version). my guess this will be the case until intel releases proper network drivers installation for windows 7.
(you can still install the drivers manually, just extract the contents of the installation file for vista PROVISTA32_14.EXE and look for the drivers in the Pro1000 folder.)
I was wondering if there is anyone from the Intel Driver Dev Group that monitors these discussion groups and if they can give us some insight as to when a Windows 7 driver package will be ready.
Also I did extract the actual drivers from the Vista intall package but acording to Window 7, when I tried to install the new driver, it has determined that it has the "Best" drivers for the NIC. So instead of running with a teamed nic I'm running on a single NIC for Windows 7. At least I had experence with a teamed NIC under Vista...

You'll need this file: PROWIN732.exe (Ver:14.3 Date:7/27/2009 Size:12874KB)
This is the Proset and Driver pack for Windows 7. Here's the link to download:
Hope this helps!
Thank you I'll give it a try later on tonight... I will post my results as well...
